The Future Looks Bright!!

Well, here we are again... we are now within the last week of the sale of the condo, we are scheduled to close on the condo and the house next week!! Yay! Lets hope it finally goes thru! Remember, we are going to have an open house to celebrate us finally being in the new house so make sure you shoot me your address so I can send you an invitation. I'm not going to post the information online.

Another Step Closer...

So, as many of you are wondering...we still aren't into our house. We've had two offers on our condo fall through and we are currently under contract with a new buyer, and should know by Thursday or Friday of this week if its going to work. We obviously hope it works! But again, with the underwriters and all that stuff behind the scenes, you never know! We aren't holding our breath, but maybe 3rd time is the charm?! This sale should close very fast if it all goes through, so we could be into the house hopefully by mid-May! I will keep you all posted on whats happening and then you all can come see the house if all goes well!!! Keep your fingers crossed!

Just kidding...its getting re-listed! MLS#848964

So, we already found out that the new buyers loan isn't going to be approved. The buyer has 1099 instead of W2 and doesn't have a long enough history of 1099 yet. So we are yet again re-listing the condo. We are still seeing if we can work something out with these new buyers but no such luck yet. So, if you know anyone interested in a condo...have them check us out!

There's also a deck that the sliding doors in the living room and second bedroom go off to. It overlooks the pool and the mountains. Great for eating out on in the summer nights! We need to sell ASAP!!

New Offer

So, we got a call from our realtor today saying we have a new offer on the condo. They came in really low, so we countered them. They are meeting with their realtor tonight, so we probably won't hear anything until later tonight or tomorrow morning on if they accept it or not. They had a letter stating they qualified for more than the amount we countered at, so hopefully they'll take it! Keep your fingers crossed that this is the one! We aren't holding our breath since the last sale fell through, but its nice to be optimistic right? Don't forget to respond to my last post if you want a prize! Oh, did I mention to you all that I'm pregnant?!

Also, my sister-in-law found out on Monday that they're having a boy, congrats to them!

NCAA Tourney....

I have way to much free time this week. Every year at work we do a contest for the NCAA Basketball Tournament. This year I had a great idea to make a HUGE bracket to put in our blank wall space by our department, and this is the result. I spent about 3 hours total making the brackets and putting the teams on there. I'm hoping to recycle it and use it again next year. I hope everyone at my work appreciates it!!

Well, I thought today would be a lucky day but its turned out to be very unlucky. The buyers of our condo couldn't get the funding because of some minor quirks that now govern the lenders in America. Things that would have been fine a year or two ago, cannot happen anymore. So, all in all, we might lose the house now. We have already re-listed the condo and hopefully Holmes Homes will be willing to work with us a little longer. If not, I guess its both our loss. I also partly blame it on our lame condo complex and the way its managed. Thats all for now...I'm really upset, but I'll be fine. I just sucks that when we were supposed to be closing this week we find out that we won't be anymore. Hopefully something good will turn out from all this stress. Thanks for your love and support...
