The Boy of a Thousand Expressions

Justus has nicknamed Connor "The Boy of a Thousand Expressions." And isn't that just so true about him? He's so animated. If you haven't seen my other past posts he pulls funny faces and just does random things, some things I've never seen little kids do before! Below are some pictures over the past little while that I haven't posted. I love the one from him at Halloween last year, his favorite prize was his toothbrush! Go figure! Then just some random ones when we've been babysitting him or just hanging around. He keeps things animated and fun. Like his Primary Program, he stole the show, as most sunbeams do. But when he got up to say his part the president was going to read it in his ear and he says "I already said that one!" straight at the lady and right in the mic and everyone laughed in the audience. Then, he turned straight to the microphone and said his part perfectly and walked away. It was hilarious!! What a goofball! We love him so much!

Our Home Sweet Hole!!!

This is a picture of our lot I took with my phone camera as we were driving past one day. Its underneath all that dirt.
(its the only picture I think we have before....keep reading)

So on Tuesday we got the email from Holmes Homes that they were going to pull our permit and start construction ASAP. So, I guess in my mind I was thinking, maybe next week they would start. So, I had this plan to go out to our lot and take a picture pre-construction and then go out maybe once a week or every other week to take pictures as its being built. So, on Thursday (yesterday) I went out to take a picture of the lot, and what did I find?????

A HOLE!!!!!

They had started digging that day! I pulled up to the lot and screamed I was so excited! (I know I know, I'm weird right?) But this is like a big deal! So I'm hoping that they can get as much done as possible before the weather starts to turn bad for the winter.

New House Construction to Start!!!

So, for those of you that know and don't know...we are going to be building a house out at Day Break. Wahoo!! And today we got the email from Holmes Homes stating that they are going to pull our permit from South Jordan City and they will start construction ASAP! I'm so freaking excited!! It should take about 6 months we expect for it to be finished, so sometime after the new year. And then, we will have a house warming party and have you all over to see it!

This is a draw up of the color scheme for our house. We are also having a full covered porch across the front with white columns. So its going to be beautiful!

Bear Lake Part One

So just days after we got back from Hawaii we left to go to Bear Lake for the 4th of July (yes, I know I'm a few months behind!) Immediately Connor started playing everything he could get his hands on.

Is that face familiar? Haha...he always squints that same eye...

Oh no! Someone's coming!
Hide!
This is Wyatt, Ryan and Amy's oldest son...he kept doing this funny thing while drinking his milk! haha...I had to take a picture!
