Second Interview

My interview with Cathy went well, so I've got a second interview with Debbie on Friday.

Interview for Assistant Manager @ South Towne

So, many of you may, or may not know this: Juile, the new assistant manager at South Towne quit last week. Left her keys and a note and quit. Cathy and Debbie both asked if I'd like to interview for the position, so I will be interviewing Tuesday night at 5pm for the position with Cathy,

I will let you all know what happens. I love working at Fashion Place and would much rather stay there. But, I don't have the new job yet, but I will let you all know how it goes.

Holding out does pay off! I've been looking for a new job for a month or so...so this could be a good opportunity for me!

Harry Potter Review

It has been a tradition for my friend Emily and I to see Harry Potter, and formerly Lord of the Rings, at the midnight showings. So, again, we ventured to Jordan Commons to see our next Harry Potter movie! It wasn't quite like the crowds used to be now that there's reserved seating. There's not the same feeling in the air that there once was. People used to camp out for hours in line waiting to get in. And yes, I was one of them. And once you got in, you had to sit in the theater for hours as well. I miss those good old days.

But, the movie was fantastic! I loved it. If you've read the books, yes the movie is rushed, but unless you are going to make a miniseries out of each book they did the best they could in the 2 hours that they made. All the characters did a phenomenal job.

My new favorite character was Bellatrix Lestrange. I thought her character was well played and I'm excited to see her in future movies. Although she's on the bad side, I thought her acting was superb.

4th of July

On the 4th of July, we had a very, very busy day. Justus and I spent the night at his parents house. We stayed up late playing games with the family. We were supposed to get up early to meet my parents at an annual 4th of July breakfast at my grandparents ward. We ended up sleeping in. Oops!

So we ended up going to my parents house after they bought him a new tricycle. They didn't have much luck teaching him how to ride it, so his big sissy stepped up to the plate. He was a pro after my lessons!

We then went to RC Willey with my parents where, we ended up buying a new couch! We then rushed to meet his family to see "Transformers"! Such a good, excellent movie. I didn't think I would like it, but it was really good.

We then rushed again to my parents for a BBQ. We stayed for an hour, then rushed off the the Real Salt Lake game. It was a bummer we lost, but the fireworks were fantastic. We finally made it home after a busy day, and then fell into bed and went to sleep.

What a day!

Swimming

Justus and I were baby-sitting Connor, so we took him swimming in our pool. He was a little afraid at first, but then he warmed up to the whole thing.

The Try-out

So, the try-out didn't go the way I wanted it to. I didn't make it. That's okay with me though. I thought I did very well, and dancing wise, I was one of the best dancers there, but not sleezy enough for them. I was definitely more coordinated and cuter than most girls there. One girl was wearing extremely short, shorts, and her butt was haning out, and her butt crack!!! She wasn't wearing dance shorts, I mean just a regular pair of shorts. I couldn't believe it!! Oh well though. It was fun to try out no matter what happened. I saw a lot of good girls get cut, so I don't feel bad at all. There was one girl there that seemed totally uncoordinated and couldn't stay on the beat...and she made it farther than I did!! Who knows what they are looking for, just people to flaunt it I guess!!

New hair...

So I've been letting you all down with my the upkeep of my blog...well, here's my new haircut! I got it cut because I'm auditioning on June 30th for the Utah Jazz Dancers. So wish me luck! I'll for sure, for sure let you all know how it goes. And yes...my left eye droops a little bit...not sure why though...
