Halloween Party?

So, Justus and I are slackers. I know we were going to have an "open house" so friends and family could come see our house. Now that its almost fall, and Halloween is next month, we were thinking maybe we'd have a Halloween party instead? What are your thoughts? It would be open to all of our friends and family to come. We have been in a few stores lately and have been getting in the Halloween mood, so we think we might do that instead of an open house.
